School clubs

Extra-curricular clubs are a great opportunity for your child to try something new, build their confidence, and make new friends in different classes.

These are the clubs we will be offering in the next half term. If you have an idea for a club that your child would enjoy, please contact us to let us know.

Before and after-school clubs

Our before and after-school clubs are run in partnership with The Mulberry Bush Day Nursery, and enable you to drop-off your child as early as 7.30am and pick them up as late as 6pm — something which working parents find invaluable. Find out more about these clubs on our wraparound care page.

Soccer Stars

Soccer Stars run a football club at Hilltop each week on Mondays, 3.15–4.15pm and this is available for Year 2-6.

The sessions are run by qualified, DBS-checked coaches. You need to book a block of sessions each half-term. Please book these sessions directly on the Soccer Stars website where you will find the option for Hilltop Primary School.

Clay Creators

Clay Creators sessions will be every Wednesday 3:15 – 4:15. Learn and play with clay! Similar to dough in texture and in lots of colours, this clay doesn’t require the hassle of a kiln, or sealing. All you need is an imagination. This club is available for those in Year 1 and above.

Please book these sessions directly on the Clay Creators website.

Science Club

Science club is on Mondays from 3.15-4.30pm and is open to children in Year 2 and above. It’s run by our very own Miss Bell and is a hands on hour of exciting experiments. All equipment is provided.

Sessions are great value at only £3 each, please book this via the School Office.

Cookery Club

Our most popular club! Mrs Gilman’s Cookery Club always has a waiting list and is being run right through to the end of the school year. Children get the opportunity to make something different each week and (the best bit!) take it home to share.

This club is every Wednesday, open to all and runs from 3:15 – 4:45. The sessions are £3 each and a spot in this popular club can be requested via the School Office.

Glow in the Dark Dodgeball

This exciting new addition to our After School club list is run by Progressive Sports. Open to all, this club is run over two sessions – Tuesday 3:15 – 4:15 for Nursery up to Year 2 and Thursday 3:15- 4:15 for Year 3 and above.
